Working with hot bitumen, asphalt and other bituminous products poses serious risks, burns, boilovers, explosions, fume inhalation and more.  this course is designed to:

Whether you’re handling, storing, supervising or working near bituminous materials, this course is essential.

What You’ll Learn

  • Safe procedures for storing and handling hot bituminous products

  • Risk minimisation for high-temperature work zones

  • Common hazard response: fires, fumes, boilovers

  • Proper selection and use of fire extinguishers

  • Responsibilities under WHS legislation

  • Visual case studies and demonstrations of real-world incidents

If you work near, handle, or supervise the use of bituminous materials, this training is not optional it’s critical.

Program Delivery Options

  • Online via Zoom (public course sessions)
  • Onsite at your workplace (group bookings up to 16).

All participants MUST HAVE access to an iPad / tablet device / laptop for assessments access learning resources and completion of assessments (iPhone is not recommended due to the screen size)
