RudTek offers demolition training throughout Queensland. This qualification is designed to meet the needs of specialist demolition works who dismantle and demolish public, residential, commercial and industrial buildings of all types, and process the resulting materials for salvage, recycling and waste disposal.

Occupational titles could include:

  • Demolition worker
  • Demolition plant operator
  • Demolition leading hand

Students will undertake:

  • Training to gain their underpinning knowledge and skills requirements
  • Assessment tasks to test their knowledge and skills
  • Workplace projects to demonstrate their learning within a workplace
  • Third Party Verification / Supervisor sign off to confirm

Fees and Funding

User Choice

The User Choice program provides a public funding contribution towards the cost of training and assessment for eligible Queensland apprentices and trainees. Student contribution fees under this program are set at $1.60 per nominal hour for each unit of competency/module and are calculated at the commencement of the unit of competency/module. The student contribution fee may be paid on behalf of the student by their employer or another third party, but cannot be paid or waived by the RTO.
